So, this is what I was Photoshopping all last night to keep myself awake. This is also the first drawing I've ever doodled and Photshopped in the course of one conscious period--of course, it's just flats, so that's not /terribly/ impressive.
This should really be in scraps, but I can move it there later.
The Story: The second day of getting a Facebook, Dmitri left a comment on my Wall saying, "Don't let Facebook steal your soul!" Or, something to that general effect. Of course I laughed, said I'd make an effort, and went about my business.
Two or three... maybe four days later I realized I'd been on Facebook pretty much from the time I got home to the time I went to bed (/after/ one in the morning), and had been practicing such behavior since the day I got the thing.

So, we have Kitty-Dmitri and Dog-Rei. Dmitri calmly but sternly reminding Rei, "You were warned."
Of course, Rei doesn't hear a word of it. XD She's far too engrossed in the affairs of her new master.
The Technical Stuff: Scribbled up on copy paper with a mech. pencil--line art procured through the wonders of the "Brightness/Contrast" adjustment, colored in Photoshop. Facebook logo compliments of a Google image search.
For the record, I don't "Bucket Fill" anything. All of my coloring is done with the brush, by mouse, with no use of magic wands etc.
Colors/markings on Dmitri not final.
Fun Facts:
- Rei is one of my only "animals verz." type characters that I never put any distinguishingly unique to me hair on.
- The color of the border /does/ match the Facebook logo, but the logo I snagged itself is flawed. The blue of the true Facebook color scheme is actually a little bit more muted.

[ edit ] Did some tweaking so that Kitty-Dmitri's eyes would be closer (though still not perfectly matched) in color to Dmitri's actual eyes. God, it irritates the hell out of me when I get eye color wrong. *sigh*

Damn. I can relate... only it's deviantART that's taken over my life, not Facebook!!!
