My last free-choice project for Drawing class.
Originally just a personal sketch... but hey, I needed something to turn in.

Dima always has so much work, and one day, as we he was walking me to my Phyz class I asked him how his day was going, and he brandished a thick fist-full of papers at me and made some unintellegable gruntsnarl.
It was cute. XD I felt bad for him though, and besides hugs (which he squirms out of), talking (which doesn't do much good, since he doesn't usually make words when he's stressed), and presents (which he doens't care about), the only thing I know how to do to cheer people up is draw things (especially comical chibi things!) for them! And here we are.

Originally there were speech bubbles--his said "[STRESS]" in exaggerated lettering and mine said "...jiminy.", because he found it amusing when I said that in a message to him once. I like using old slang, yes. |D
But I took them out for the interest of a more attractive composition.

His hair is EXTREMELY detailed. I will probably post detail shots later. Because you can see individual clumps of hair. @_@ It took hours. But I had a lot of fun with it. Many of the other things were done more quickly because I was forced to do them with an extremely limited amount of time, but I'm still pleased with the end result. the only critical mistake I made I've been told looks okay, as if on purpose, so I'm not going to mention what it is.
Oh. Yeah. And the background? Making that made me want to suicide. D:

Everything pictured is real. The clothes, the bags, everything is just how it was that day. (Except his shirt may have been one of his darker ones).
If you look closely you can see all my keychains. XD Including my mini-Tupperwear and Harold.

Technical stuff: sketched with a mech. pencil, inked entirely with Copic Multiliners and one black brushmarker which brand I cannot recall. Background was first filled (mostly, it was not an entirely solid coat) with the .8 Copic Multiliner, then gone over again with the marker. This was necessary because in person I can't use the "Brightness/Contrast" tool, so to make certain areas appear as the darkest of blacks I had to use certain combinations.

Total time: I don't honestly know, but I would say it probably took about 15 hours total.
